Q. Can you introduce yourself?
R. I'm Joe Phelan from K2 Alpaca Farm; everyone calls me Alpaca Joe. I started this adventure 9 years ago. Since then, it has grown and expanded. The farm covers 90 hectares, which provides plenty of space for our alpacas! We have 71 alpacas and 2 llamas.
Q. Can you tell us more about alpaca wool?
R. Alpaca wool is simply fantastic. You have to touch and feel it to appreciate its quality. Alpaca is water-resistant and flame-retardant, which gives it excellent thermal properties.
Alpaca clothing is very soft, very light, but also very warm.
And despite their softness, they are very durable and last for years.
