Caring for men's swimwear

IN THREE steps

STEP 1

WASHING MEN'S SWIMSUIT

Men's swimwear does not require washing after every swim, but rinsing with clean water is essential. It removes salt, chlorine, and sand residue, which can eventually damage the fibers. To preserve the quality of the fabric and the intensity of the colors of men's swimwear, hand wash in warm water with a mild detergent. If machine washing is necessary, turn the men's swimwear inside out and place it in a net bag, using a delicate cycle. Avoid bleaching products or dry cleaning. These precautions will prolong the look and hold of men's swimwear for a long time.

STEP 2

DRYING MEN'S SWIMSUIT

To dry men's swimwear, it is best to gently squeeze it in a towel, then let it dry flat, away from direct sunlight. Even quick-drying men's swimwear can become fragile under the effect of heat or lose its shine. Tumble drying is to be avoided, as is ironing at a high temperature (110 °C maximum if necessary). Natural and controlled drying preserves the suppleness of the material, the cut and the comfort of wearing men's swimwear.

STEP 3

PRESERVING MEN'S SWIMSUIT

To preserve your men's swimwear, it is recommended to avoid prolonged contact with oils, sunscreens, or perfumes, which can cause stains that are difficult to remove. Never leave wet men's swimwear in a beach bag—stagnant moisture promotes wear and odors. Finally, be careful of rough surfaces like rocks or poolside edges, which can snag the material. With proper care, your men's swimwear will retain its casual chic look season after season.
