DELIVERY CONDITIONS

Hartford delivers to the following international countries :

Australia, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Estonia, Guadeloupe, Guernesey, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Jersey, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malaysia, Martinique, Mexico, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Reunion Island, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Martin, South Africa, South Korea, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Thailand, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the USA.

For UK and International orders, taxes and custom duties may be claimed upon delivery, they remain at the charge of the client.

If the order is eligible to the payment of taxes and customs duties when entering the country of delivery, DHL will directly contact the client in order to regularize the amount required for customs clearance of the order.

DHL acts as a broker for the Customs authority of the country of delivery. DHL will only proceed to the delivery of the order when the payment of these taxes and customs duties has been processed.

Neither Hartford nor DHL is liable for any delays in international transportation or customs clearance.

 

Delivery may occur only at the delivery address provided by the Customer during the order and accepted by the Company. The Company reserves the right to refuse to deliver products in hotels, post office boxes, or to any other invalid or temporary address.

Hartford will make every effort to deliver the order within an average of 5 days from the day following the confirmation of the order by the Purchaser. During sale periods: this delivery time may be extended to 10 days.

The articles are delivered subject to available stocks. Should the product ordered be unavailable, Hartford will honor the order for the other products. The Customer will only be invoiced for the products actually dispatched.

Outside EU, Hartford deliveries are shipped by DHL through its 'Express WorldWide' international air service. Delivery time depends on a number of variables, and there may be delays such as bad weather affecting air transport, or a package being held for inspection by Customs.

Neither Hartford nor DHL is liable for any delays in international transportation or customs clearance.



SHIPPING OPTIONS AND CHARGES

International shipping charges will be calculated by Hartford based on your shipping destination.

The total cost includes

- The product purchase price
- International shipping charges to your designated delivery address. (see detailed charges by country below)

 

The total cost doesn't include: customs duty, import taxes and any local clearance fees applicable for your country. These customs duties and/or possible taxes linked to the delivery of the order shall be payable by the client at delivery and are his responsibility.



 

Shipping charges by country are the following:

 

- 16 Euros for Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia.

- 20 Euros for Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Guadeloupe, Guernesey, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Jersey, Lebanon, Malaysia, Martinique, Mexico, Norway, Reunion Island, Saint Martin, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kindgom and Hong-Kong.

- 30 Euros for Australia, New Caledonia and New Zealand.

 

Please note that Hartford will offer shipping charges for orders above 300€.



DELIVERY TRACKING

Once your parcel is ready for delivery, we will send you a Delivery Confirmation email with a Tracking number. You can connect to DHL: Track your parcel and enter your tracking number to check on your order status.

 



Returns & Refunds - International

 

Only articles returned within a 30-days time frame after reception of the order, in their original packaging, not washed and not worn may be refunded.

Return or refund is not available in stores nor corners. In order to organize you return, please contact our Customer Service: [email protected]


In case of a mistake in the Delivery Address fields or Customer Name, Hartford cannot be held responsible of its inability to ship the order.
In case of an incomplete delivery, the customer will be informed by email of the partial delivery of the order. Another email will inform the customer when the remaining items are ready to be shipped.
In the event when the postman could not remit the parcel to the customer in person, the parcel will be returned to us and we will contact you by email directly. Depending on the cases, we will confirm the correct delivery details and agree on a new delivery date. In that case, delivery charges are to be supported by the customer.
If at delivery, the parcel looks damaged, the customer will carefully open the parcel in front of the postman so that the condition of the items can be verified. In case of damaged items, the customer will precisely explain the nature of damages on the delivery receipt or he/she can decide to refuse the parcel.

 

If you haven’t received your parcel 7 business days after the date indicated in the confirmation, and if no delivery attempt notification was left, please contact our Customer Service by email [email protected] or by phone +33 1 58 39 39 86.

 

CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS AND REFUNDS

 

The customer benefits from 14-days after delivery to inform our Customer Service about his intentions to return any or all items of an order, and ask for a refund. If the 14-days period is respected, the customer will be refunded with no penalty, except delivery and return charges.
If the 14-days period expires on a Saturday, a Sunday or a National Holiday, then it is extended to the next business day. Passed the 14-days period, Hartford can decline the refund of the payment.
It is the customer responsibility to prove that the items have effectively been returned to Hartford, which implies that the items are returned through recorded mail or any other service providing delivery confirmation and an effective tracking.
Items should be returned new, unused and with all original tags. In compliance with our Terms & Conditions of Sale, in the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, the return won't be accepted and will not be refunded.

In order to identify your order and refund your returned articles, your invoice received with your order is required in your package.

In the event that Hartford made a mistake when preparing the order, we will offer the returns charges. In any other case, returns charges will be to the customer.
Items purchased on the Hartford website are not exchangeable nor refundable in our shops.

 

Hartford Customer Service will issue a Return Authorization Form and give you the DHL pick up form and DHL contact to organize the collect of your return.

Each return will need to have this return form attached, completed by the client and returned to our warehouse address, that will be indicated on the DHL label we will provide you.

 

Without prejudice to the provisions of the legal guarantee, the Purchaser has fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of the order to ask for a refund.

 

Please note that orders shipped internationally aren't eligible for free returns; original shipping fees are not refundable. Return shipping charges of 15€ will be deducted from your refund. 

 

REFUND TIME

When the return is accepted, Hartford commits to issue a refund within a 30 working days period from the day the parcel has been received in our warehouse.
