Linen care

IN THREE steps

1. WASH THE LINEN

To care for your linen garments, we recommend hand washing. However, machine washing is possible, provided you choose a delicate cycle at 30°C to preserve the fibers' suppleness. However, dry cleaning is strongly discouraged. Also remember to wash your pieces inside out and separate light shades to avoid color transfer. Many pieces, like our men's linen shirts, are garment-dyed, which gives them a subtle color and a softened feel. Washing does not alter the quality of the fabric, but this process is designed to change the color over time, creating a natural patina that makes each piece unique.

  • Wash by hand or on a delicate cycle at 30°C
  • Prefer washing inside out
  • Separate the colors of the lighter tones

2. Dry the linen

Drying is an essential step in caring for your linen garments. We recommend air drying them away from direct sunlight to preserve the fabric's fiber and color. Naturally airy and flowing, linen tends to wrinkle, a feature appreciated for its authentic charm. However, machine washing may accentuate this effect excessively, or even cause shrinkage. To limit wrinkles, it's best to hang your pieces on a hanger as soon as they come out of the wash. If they remain excessively wrinkled after drying, ironing may be considered. To preserve the fabric, we recommend ironing on the reverse side, on slightly damp fabric, with a hot iron not exceeding 150°C.

  • Air dry on hanger

  • Iron on damp linen and inside out at 150°C

3. LINEN OVER TIME

Linen clothing is a natural fabric that improves with age. Its fibers soften wash after wash, offering an increasingly softer feel and a smooth drape without losing quality. However, linen care requires keeping your pieces in the best conditions with a few precautions: when not in use, we recommend storing linen in a dry space, away from moisture and direct light, to avoid any alteration of its color. Favor careful folding or a hanger for the most structured pieces, to minimize pronounced creases. Unlike other textiles, linen does not require a plastic cover, which could retain moisture and alter its fiber.

  • Store in a dry, dark place.

  • Favor storage on hangers
