Fabric

100% Cotton

This fabric is a lightweight European-made cotton chambray that is both OEKO-TEX and BCI certified. It is a standard twill fabric distinguished by its white yarn, which contrasts with the indigo yarn, giving the fabric a unique heathered look. Fairly lightweight, chambray—an icon of workwear and vintage men’s fashion—is ideal for making shirts with a casual, laid-back look.

Manufacturing

This garment was crafted at our specialist shirt maker. Located near Casablanca in Morocco, this tailoring workshop has been manufacturing Hartford shirts for over 30 years. They work traditionnally and specialize in shirtmaking. We tipically take care of all the supply of materials and accessories and they focus on crafting the perfect shirts. This process guarantees a very reasonable and responsible production: even our surplus and scrap fabrics are upcycled, sometimes to make boxer shorts or tote bags. This family factory, which today employs nearly 300 people, is regularly audited for compliance with the ICS code of conduct.
