The Paul men's shirt is the emblematic regular fit of the Hartford collection. Since 1979, our Paris studio has crafted it in a range of colours and fabrics. Our tip: for a relaxed look, wear it open with cargo trousers or chinos. For a dressier look, it pairs perfectly with a full suit. This model is made from 100% double-faced checked cotton.

Fabric

100% Cotton

This fabric is a double-sided cotton flannel, woven in Portugal and OEKO-TEX certified. The fabric, with a distinctive check pattern, is brushed for a very pleasant flannel finish and feel. With a weight of 210g/m² it is a thick fabric that is ideal for making mid-season overshirts or warm winter shirts.

Manufacturing

This garment was crafted at our specialist shirt maker. Located near Casablanca in Morocco, this tailoring workshop has been manufacturing Hartford shirts for over 30 years. They work traditionnally and specialize in shirtmaking. We tipically take care of all the supply of materials and accessories and they focus on crafting the perfect shirts. This process guarantees a very reasonable and responsible production: even our surplus and scrap fabrics are upcycled, sometimes to make boxer shorts or tote bags. This family factory, which today employs nearly 300 people, is regularly audited for compliance with the ICS code of conduct.
