Our eshop stays open! Orders are prepared and shipped every day, with social distanciation and strict hygiene rules.
Hartford elected La Poste Colissimo and Chronopost to ensure the delivery of your orders throughout France and Europe. Orders are shipped within 1 or 2 days (Monday to Friday - orders placed over the weekend will be shipped the following Monday). Our estimated shipping times with our carriers are 1 to 2 days for France and 2 to 5 days for international orders.
Shipping outside France are available for the following countries:
- The Netherlands

For orders delivered outside the European Union, taxes and custom duties may be claimed upon delivery, they remain at the charge of the client.
If the order is eligible to the payment of taxes and customs duties when entering the country of delivery, DHL will directly contact the client in order to regularize the amount required for customs clearance of the order.
DHL acts as a broker for the Customs authority of the country of delivery. DHL will only proceed to the delivery of the order when the payment of these taxes and customs duties is processed.
In France, Colissimo delivery charges are 5€ when delivered to a "Point Retrait/Pick-up point" or 7€ when delivered at your personal address. Faster deliveries with Chronopost are charged 12€.
In France, standard home delivery with Colissimo is offered for any order above 200€.
We charge the following fees for international deliveries via Colissimo:
- Belgium: 8€ when delivered to a "Point Retrait/ Pick-up point" or 10€ for home deliveries
- 10€ for Germany, Luxemburg and the Netherlands
- 12€ for Austria, Spain, Ireland, Italy and Portugal
- 15€ for Denmark, Finland and Sweden
In European Union, standard home delivery is offered for any order above 200€.
If you wish to receive your order faster, we can recommend selecting our Express delivery methods with our carrier Chronopost. We charge the following fees for our express home delivery with an average shipping time of 1 to 2 days, as soon as your order leaves our warehouse:
- 20€ for Austria, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Ireland, Germany, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.
Once your parcel is ready for delivery, we will send you a Delivery Confirmation email with a Tracking number. You can connect to Colissimo: Track your parcel or Chronopost according to the chosen delivery method and enter your tracking number to check on your order status.
INCOMPLETE DELIVERY AND DELIVERY ISSUES
The delivery of items can only occur at the mentioned address and after the payment is processed.
Each parcel will be remitted to the customer at the private address mentioned and only in exchange for a signature and ID verification (for international orders: mailboxes, local businesses or public address cannot be accepted). Therefore, it is very important to be very specific when filling the Delivery Address and Name fields.
In case of a mistake in the Delivery Address fields or Customer Name, Hartford cannot be held responsible of its inability to ship the order.
In case of an incomplete delivery, the customer will be informed by email of the partial delivery of the order. Another email will inform the customer when the remaining items are ready to be shipped.
In the event when the postman could not remit the parcel to the customer in person, the parcel will be returned to us and we will contact you by email directly. Depending on the cases, we will confirm the correct delivery details and agree on a new delivery date. In that case, delivery charges are to be supported by the customer.
If at delivery, the parcel looks damaged, the customer will carefully open the parcel in front of the postman so that the condition of the items can be verified. In case of damaged items, the customer will precisely explain the nature of damages on the delivery receipt or he/she can decide to refuse the parcel.

Returns & Refunds - France et Europe
CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS AND REFUNDS
The customer benefits from 14-days after delivery to inform our Customer Service about his intentions to return any or all items of an order, and ask for a refund. If the 14-days period is respected, the customer will be refunded with no penalty, except delivery and return charges.
If the 14-days period expires on a Saturday, a Sunday or a National Holiday, then it is extended to the next business day. Passed the 14-days period, Hartford can decline the refund of the payment.
It is the customer responsibility to prove that the items have effectively been returned to Hartford, which implies that the items are returned through recorded mail or any other service providing delivery confirmation and an effective tracking. In case the parcel would be lost, we won't be able to proceed the refund without this proof.
Items should be returned new, unused and with all original tags. In compliance with our Terms & Conditions of Sale, in the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, the return won't be accepted and will not be refunded.
In order to identify your order and refund your returned articles, your invoice received with your order is required in your package.
In the event that Hartford made a mistake when preparing the order, we will offer the returns charges. In any other case, returns charges will be to the customer.
Items purchased on the Hartford website are not exchangeable nor refundable in our shops.

- the returned items in their original packaging and with the tags.

When the return is accepted, Hartford commits to issue a refund within a 14 working days period from the day the parcel has been received in our warehouse.
