The Sammy men's shirt is the emblematic slim fit of the Hartford collection. Since 1979, our Paris studio has crafted it in a range of colours and fabrics. A classic that suits every occasion. Our tip: for a relaxed look, wear it open with cargo trousers or chinos. For a dressier look, it pairs perfectly with a full suit. This model is cut from a brushed 105 g/m² cotton gabardine, OEKO-TEX certified.

Fabric

100% Cotton

This lightweight cotton twill, made from pure long-staple combed cotton, stands out for its remarkable drape. Weighing 105 g/m², it offers both lightness and structure. Its emery finish gives it a peach-skin feel. Woven in Italy and finished in France, this fabric is OEKO-TEX certified and prepared for piece dyeing. As a result, garments made from this fabric will take on a subtle, nuanced color with a vintage look and a depth of hue that evolves over time.

Manufacturing

This garment was crafted at our specialist shirt maker. Located near Casablanca in Morocco, this tailoring workshop has been manufacturing Hartford shirts for over 30 years. They work traditionnally and specialize in shirtmaking. We tipically take care of all the supply of materials and accessories and they focus on crafting the perfect shirts. This process guarantees a very reasonable and responsible production: even our surplus and scrap fabrics are upcycled, sometimes to make boxer shorts or tote bags. This family factory, which today employs nearly 300 people, is regularly audited for compliance with the ICS code of conduct.
