The Pitt men's shirt is an alternative to our classic regular-fit PAUL. It offers the same straight cut with a button-down collar for a more American spirit. Our tip: thanks to its button-down collar, the Pitt can be worn open over a white T-shirt or buttoned up under a crew-neck jumper with the collar showing. The American Ivy spirit, a Hartford signature. This model is cut from a brushed cotton oxford, OEKO-TEX certified.

Fabric

100% Cotton

This shirt fabric is a cotton oxford woven in Portugal and labeled OEKO-TEX. Oxford is recognizable by its weave, thicker than a poplin, and its characteristic grain. For this Fall-Winter collection, we have chosen a brushed finish which gives it a fluffy touch like a flannel.

Manufacturing

This garment was crafted at our specialist shirt maker. Located near Casablanca in Morocco, this tailoring workshop has been manufacturing Hartford shirts for over 30 years. They work traditionnally and specialize in shirtmaking. We tipically take care of all the supply of materials and accessories and they focus on crafting the perfect shirts. This process guarantees a very reasonable and responsible production: even our surplus and scrap fabrics are upcycled, sometimes to make boxer shorts or tote bags. This family factory, which today employs nearly 300 people, is regularly audited for compliance with the ICS code of conduct.
