The Pitt men's shirt is an alternative to the classic regular-fit Paul. It offers the same straight cut with a button-down collar for a more American spirit. Our tip: thanks to its button-down collar, the Pitt can be worn open over a white T-shirt or buttoned up under a crew-neck jumper with the collar showing. The American Ivy spirit, a Hartford signature. This model is cut from a fine 120 g/m² corduroy.

Fabric
100% Cotton
This fabric is a very fine cotton velvet with a ribbed structure. Its fine and dense ribs make it a subtle fabric called "milleraies" velvet or babycord in English. Comfortable and light with its weight of 120g/m², it is ideal for making shirts or overshirts for the start of the season. Used in ready-to-dye and then dyed by diving, this fabric absorbs colors perfectly and, although it is matt, is very interesting for its nuanced and changing reflections depending on the light.
Manufacturing
This garment was crafted at our specialist shirt maker. Located near Casablanca in Morocco, this tailoring workshop has been manufacturing Hartford shirts for over 30 years. They work traditionnally and specialize in shirtmaking. We tipically take care of all the supply of materials and accessories and they focus on crafting the perfect shirts. This process guarantees a very reasonable and responsible production: even our surplus and scrap fabrics are upcycled, sometimes to make boxer shorts or tote bags. This family factory, which today employs nearly 300 people, is regularly audited for compliance with the ICS code of conduct.
