The Portland men's shirt reinvents the classics of the Hartford men's collection. This model is the fruit of the brand's American inspirations and a savoir-faire honed since 1979. Our tip: for a true Hartford look, wear this model open as an overshirt with a white T-shirt. In the same spirit, the PHOENIX and PASADENA complete the western range. This model is cut from a 160 g/m² blended twill of Tencel, cotton and linen. OEKO-TEX certified.

Fabric

60% Tencel - 34% Cotton - 6% Linen

This OEKO-TEX-certified twill fabric (160 g/m²) is made from a blend of Tencel, cotton, and linen. Certified by Lenzing, Tencel is an eco-friendly material derived from wood pulp. It is woven in Spain and pre-treated for dyeing, ensuring excellent color retention. Thanks to the Tencel, the fabric has a heavy, fluid drape and a silky, exceptionally comfortable feel.

Manufacturing

This garment was crafted at our specialist shirt maker. Located near Casablanca in Morocco, this tailoring workshop has been manufacturing Hartford shirts for over 30 years. They work traditionnally and specialize in shirtmaking. We tipically take care of all the supply of materials and accessories and they focus on crafting the perfect shirts. This process guarantees a very reasonable and responsible production: even our surplus and scrap fabrics are upcycled, sometimes to make boxer shorts or tote bags. This family factory, which today employs nearly 300 people, is regularly audited for compliance with the ICS code of conduct.

Maintenance
